Hi.

Welcome to my little corner of the web! I document my families hosted stay adventures, some cool collaborations with great brands and sometimes just whatever is on my mind. I hope to connect with you!

Is a visit to Orlando really complete without checking out ICON park? I think not! ICON park is home to over 50+ amazing restaurants, funky bars, boutique shops, and amusement park rides. My little family of three is beyond appreciative to have been #hosted and enjoyed the day at ICON park exploring all that this amazing park has to offer!

Attractions: [All attraction descriptions taken directly from the ICON park website] Located in the heart of Orlando’s International Drive, ICON Park offers several world-class attractions including The Wheel, a jaw-dropping observation wheel that stands 400 feet tall, the famous Madame Tussauds Orlando wax museum, SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium, In The Game, 7D Motion Theater, Museum of Illusions, and the toddler-sized Pearl Express Train (for your little ones and even those just young at heart)!

The Wheel at ICON park: At 400 feet over Orlando, you can see a plethora of attractions from the comfort of your capsule!

  • This Orlando attraction opened in 2015, after three years of construction

  • With air-conditioning and stability control in every capsule, this Observation wheel far surpasses the experience of any smaller Ferris wheel

  • The Wheel at ICON Park is equipped with 64,000 color-changing LEDs used for unique light shows

SEA LIFE Aquarium: Come face-to-fin with thousands of fish, sharks, stingrays, sea turtles, and many more. Prepare for a world of glittering scales, humongous tentacles, and razor sharp teeth. Get ready to plunge deep into the oceans, explore our 360-degree ocean tunnel, meet our friendly rescue sea turtle, and touch exotic starfish and anemones. You can even jump behind the scenes and see all it takes to keep an aquarium running

While enjoying our #hosted visit to ICON park Orlando we stopped into Sloppy Joe’s for lunch and Sugar Factory for dinner and both restaurants were AMAZING! Check out what what we ordered at each location!

Lunch at Sloppy Joe’s-

The moment you step into Sloppy Joes you are immersed into the vibes of Key West with tropical libations and cuisine, live music every day, and shots at sunset just like it's done in the famous Key West Mallory Square. There are currently three Sloppy Joe’s locations- ICON Park Orlando, Daytona Beach and the original being in Key West!

Sloppy Joe's menu

Cheers for lunch at Sloppy Joes!

Cheese Nuggets- Crispy battered Wisconsin curds served with marinara

Kids Corkscrew Pasta with Marinara and a side of applesauce

Duval & Greene Cobb Salad- The intersection of the two most famous streets in Key West brings us this classic salad. Grilled chicken, blue cheese, smoked bacon, avocado, tomato, sliced egg, and black beans served over chopped greens with balsamic vinaigrette on the side.

North Palm Beach Salad- Lump crab, shrimp salad, avocado, roasted corn, chopped greens, sunflower kernels, vine ripe tomato and balsamic vinaigrette

Coconut Creme Pie- Whipped to towering peaks and mounded in an Oreo crust. Finished with toasted coconut

Thank you Sloppy Joe’s Orlando for the EXCELLENT service! Juan was AMAZING and such a fun server! We appreciate the wonderful experience and fantastic hospitality!

Dinner was at Sugar Factory-

Sugar Factory was truly an experience! The moment you step inside, its a large-scale candy shop mixed with an ice cream shop mixed with a restaurant! According to the Sugar Factory website, “A celebrity favorite, this American brasserie is sure to satisfy the sweet tooth cravings of both tourists and locals alike. Upscale dining classics are served from brunch to late-night ranging from flavorful milkshakes, gourmet burgers, ice cream sandwiches and more. Signature treats include a number of celebrity-endorsed Couture Pops, smoking Goblet Drinks, candy infused cocktails, and the one-and-only King Kong Sundae with 16 scoops of ice cream, tasty toppings, and even sparklers!”

Sugar Factory

“The People’s Watermelon Cadillac Margarita Goblet”

Hypnotiq Long Island Iced Tea Goblet & Spinach Artichoke dip

Blue Cheese Bacon Burger and fries

Penne Marinara with Chicken added

Caesar Salad with shrimp added

Sugar Factory was legitimately a high-energy, BUSY restaurant. Literally the complete opposite vibe of Sloppy Joe’s which was super chill and laid back. If you are looking for a fun and high-energy experience packed with sugary, tasty treats you are at the right location! Sugar Factory also has MULTIPLE locations across the United States, Dubai and even in the Bahamas!

So tell me, would you check out ICON park? What would you be most excited to visit and do?

Until next time!

XO, Nikki
