Product Review: Living Textiles
Who loves super soft, snuggly baby things?! Likely everyone, duh! With that being said, I was more than happy to review a few items from Living Textiles after having already owned their knit toy Kenzie unicorn you will see in the photo below. This company makes a variety of baby items ranging from blankets and knit toys to gift sets and even nursery & children’s bedding! Here’s what I received from them:
*Knitted Toy- Ava Cat
*Cozy Chenille Baby Blanket- Pink Heart
*Baby Bento Gift Set- Muslin Swaddle Blanket + Mini Austin Lion
Let’s start with the Cozy Chenille Baby Blanket, shall we? Guys, this blanket is AMAZING and so incredibly soft beyond what I was expecting. It’s definitely a blanket you will want to have for your little one and Living Textiles offers a variety of colors and patterns on their website perfect for a boy, girl or if you are keeping things gender-neutral! Additional options of this Cozy Chenille Blanket include: blue/white giraffe, grey/white elephant, grey/white cloud, pink/white bunnies, blue/grey star and the grey/pink heart which is pictured in my photos. The blankets are all priced at $29.99 and truly a great size: 40x30 in; 75x100 cm. Additionally, they come beautifully packaged; rolled and tied with ribbon, making them an excellent baby shower gift!
Now let’s talk about the adorable knit toys! Like I mentioned above, we already owned the Kenzie Unicorn, which I actually purchased this past fall to use in a few Halloween photos with my girl. One of her costumes was dressing up a unicorn, so of course I had to take ridiculously cute photos and incorporate the Kenzie Unicorn into the shots. Ready for cuteness overload? Take a look below.
As you can see, the knit toys are also a great size, measuring at 8x15.5 in; 20x38cm. They also all contain an internal jingling rattle, adding an additional fun feature to keep your kiddo entertained and engaged in the toy. Each knit toy is made with a 100% cotton exterior, giving it a quality, soft feel that your little one is sure to love and want to snuggle. In addition to the Ava Cat and Kenzie Unicorn, Living Textiles also offers eleven other knit toys that are gender-neutral or if you’re searching for the perfect knit toy for a little boy, they’ve got you covered. Each knit toy has a price point of $23.99, which I initially thought was a little steep for just a stuffed toy, but once you actually have the toy in your hands and feel the softness and quality of the product, you likely won’t regret making the purchase.
Last but not least we have the Baby Bento Gift set which comes with two muslin swaddle blankets and a mini Austin Lion knit toy. I wanted to choose a gender-neutral item, not only for the review, but to also have on hand for a future baby. Of course my little one immediately loved the mini Austin Lion which is made with the same quality materials as the larger knit toys, just on an obviously smaller scale which measures at 4.5x7.5 inches. The included swaddle blankets are both a great size; 47x47in;120x120cm, making them perfect for wrapping up a new baby into a little burrito. Living Textiles also states that their muslin blankets “soften with every wash,” and I’m very interested to see if this is true! Stay tuned, I’ll let you know! They offer a variety of Baby Bento gift sets with different mini knit toys as well as gift sets that include four musin swaddles instead of including a knit toy if you prefer just swaddle blankets. Each gift set comes in at a price point of $49.99, which I find fairly reasonble considering the quality of the items you are receiving.
Overall, I really love the quality feel, look and design of the Living Textiles baby items I received. Their prices are somewhat on the higher-end, but I truly feel you are getting what you pay for. Their items are ideal for baby shower gifts and they also offer free shipping on orders over $50.00 which is a great bonus and incentive to purchase off of their site. After feeling how soft and cozy these few products are, I would truly love to get my hands on a bedding set from their “lolli Living” line. I can only assume it would feel like sleeping inside of a cloud! Click on the link below to shop on Living Textiles website!
