Alright guys, we’re back on WDW property at our favorite resort- Swan & Dolphin. Last time we were hosted here we stayed at The Dolphin. This time our visit was at The Swan. Let’s dive right into the details of our visit, shall we?

[Descriptions and details of the property are taken directly from swandolphin.com. All opinions of the property and our time spent there during our hosted stay are 100% truthful and my own.]

Located in the heart of Walt Disney World, the award-winning Swan and Dolphin hotel is conveniently located between Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Once on property, guests can enjoy complimentary scheduled transportation around the Walt Disney World Resort every 15-20 minutes. You can either take a leisurely cruise on a Disney water taxi to Epcot or Hollywood Studios , or take the Epcot Resort Hotels shuttle bus to all other attractions and Disney resorts within Walt Disney World complex.

Did you know that the resorts are actually divided up into three separate, yet connected properties? It’s true! They are the: Swan Resort, Dolphin Resort and Swan Reserve. I’ll give you a quick run down of each and then focus on the Dolphin Resort since that Is where we are staying.

We not only had a beautiful “traditional” room which consisted of two queen beds, being absolutely perfect for my small family of three, we also had a functioning balcony off of our room. We loved that the balcony faced toward Epcot and a portion of The Dolphin Resort (behind that is WDW MK in the distance!) We absolutely ADORED our balcony view and spent each night on it watching the fireworks at Epcot and even Magic Kingdom! We were in the East tower on floor seven. I highly recommend this placement if you want to catch simultaneous views of both fireworks shows at 9PM!

We also LOVED the amazing toiletry products and various helpful kits that were in the bathroom! I’ve never seen such a variety of helpful little kits given away complimentary like that before! From a shaving kit, to nail care, to sewing, shoe care and even a shower cap! I was seriously impressed!

As mentioned above, between all three properties there are 23 different restaurants and lounges to choose from. Unfortunately, we did not have time to enjoy them all but we WERE fortunate to be able to spend time at “Rosa Mexicano” for dinner at The Dolphin and we also enjoyed poolside cocktails at The Swan poolside bar, ”Splash.” Just check out the amazing food and cocktails we enjoyed at both locations:

After dinner I highly recommend letting your little one(s) burn off energy at the playground! My girl had a blast running and playing with other kiddos. This great space is located on The Swan side of the property on a makeshift beach by the water. Next to the playground the resort also had a nighttime movie set-up with chairs and also a fire-pit for ‘smores in addition to large hammocks to relax in.

One of our favorite perks of this resort as mentioned above, is the proximity to Epcot! We love that we can quickly grab breakfast at the coffee shop near the lobby of The Swan and then step outside to the boat pick up/drop off area. The boats drop off and pick up about every 15-20 minutes or you could seriously just walk to Epcot! Yes, walk! On our last day we decided to just walk through the Boardwalk to Epcot. It took us literally only about 15 minutes to leisurely walk from The Swan & Dolphin property to the entrance of Epcot which was AMAZING! Don’t feel nervous or overwhelmed to just walk, I promise it’s worth it on a nice day, plus you get to check out all of the cute shops and restaurants on the Boardwalk on your way!

Let’s wrap this up, shall we? In addition to great amenities, incredible customer service, equally incredible food and cocktails and literally the best balcony view I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying while on Walt Disney World property, I have not a single negative thing to say about The Swan Resort! You can literally walk to Disney’s Boardwalk and Epcot in MINUTES or seriously just check-in at this resort to spend time at a gorgeous property that is jam-packed with everything you could possibly want. You simply can’t go wrong staying here!

Feel free to drop any questions about this property in the comments below, send me an e-mail or reach out to me on any of my social channels!

Another BIG thank you to The Swan & Dolphin Resort for hosting my little family! We had a magical time and can’t wait to return and also check out The Swan & The Swan Reserve properties sometime soon!

Until next time!

XO, Nikki
