Another day and another beautiful hosted stay in the Orlando area! This time at the incredible Orlando World Center Marriott! This property is not only gorgeous, but absolutely MASSIVE! It has 28 floors, 1899 rooms, 111 suites and 104 meeting rooms! You could easily get lost here and there is definitely no shortage of things to do and countless places to relax! It is ideally located close to the Disney parks and even offers various daily shuttles to the Disney parks from the resort for guests! Let’s dive right into the key amenities this property offers, because it’s seriously beyond impressive!

Key amenities include: Hawk’s Landing Golf Course, which is a full-sized 18-hole golf course. An additional on-site mini-golf course, a full spa, fitness center and arcade. Falls Pool Oasis , which is the primary, lagoon-style hotel pool. There’s also a dedicated children’s splash zone with small water slide for little ones. There’s a separate River Falls waterpark, which is home to three multi-rider waterslides and a 575ft lazy river. Cabanas and daybeds are also available to rent and there’s even an on-site recreation department which plans activities from arts & crafts to hula hoop competitions and even a nightly laser light show over the main pool!

I also felt it was worth mentioning that the on-site recreation department has an online calendar of daily activities which is viewable to everyone! I love that it includes activities for the entire family from arts & crafts, to a movie schedule to even fun competitions! Personally, I have never seen a resort list a calendar of daily activities online, so I thought this was pretty neat and a great way to effortlessly find something to please everyone in your party! Click the button below to check it out!

During our stay on property we had quite a bit of stormy weather and I was incredibly impressed to see the recreation department create plenty of activities for families to enjoy indoors! An entire meeting room was set up with games, arts & crafts and various other activities which was truly so nice and thoughtful. We even were able to enjoy an interactive show from Gatorland which included various live reptiles we could touch and learn about. The recreation department on property is definitely amazing and truly goes above and beyond to create the best experience possible for guests on property which is far superior to various other comparable hotels and resorts, in my opinion.

If you’re hungry, this property also offers plenty of dining options! I love the broad diversity of the restaurants which definitely provides enough variety to make everyone in your visiting party happy! Dining options on property include the following: The Lobby Lounge which offers cocktails, sushi and small plates of food. Open daily from 4:00PM-12:00AM. The Falls Pool Bar & Grill, which is open 11:00AM-10:00PM. Since we spent a lot of time at the pool or in our cabana, our food primarily came from here. We had not a single complaint or bad food item from the Falls Pool Bar & Grill. Absolutely every bit of food and each cocktail was delicious and the service was excellent. Check out some of our food from when we were poolside or ordered from our cabana:

Additional restaurants and dining options on property include: Mikado Japanese Steak House, open 5:00-9:00PM , Siro Urban Italian Kitchen, open 5:00-10:00PM, Latitude & Longitude, which is open 7:00AM- 4:00PM and is an American-style restaurant. This is also where we enjoyed breakfast with the most phenomenal buffet! There’s made-to-order eggs Benedict, waffles, pancakes and more! The buffet was truly awesome!

If you’re looking to catch a big game while on property, you’ll want to dine at High Velocity, which is the sports bar on property and open Monday through Saturday 4PM- 11PM and Sunday 12:30PM-11:00PM. If you’re not on the mood to sit down somewhere, you would prefer to just grab and go, there is also a Central Pantry open everyday from 7:00AM-12:00AM which offers freshly made items like gourmet Italian flatbreads, salads, baked goods and frozen yogurt. There’s also a Starbucks located in the main lobby and even in-room dining with chef prepared to-go packaged meals delivered right to your room or available for pickup in under 25 minutes!

Alright, let’s talk accommodations! This property offers 7 different guest rooms and 9 different suites to choose from! We had the following guest room: “2 Queen(s), Pool-Laser Show view.” our room was 425sqft, had an oversized 50sqft balcony facing the Falls Pool Oasis, a beautiful bathroom with dual sinks and a large shower. We also had a mini-fridge in room, which was nice since we always travel with snacks and fruit! This guestroom was clean, modern and definitely spacious enough for my party of three! Check it out:

Now that we’ve covered the primary amenities, dining and our guest room, let’s focus on the pool and waterpark for a bit since that’s where we spent probably the most time while at this gorgeous resort. The primary hotel pool is the “ Falls Pool Oasis.” This is the newly redesigned, lagoon-style pool which is not only MASSIVE, but also heated, has zero entry, sun shelves around the perimeter and plenty of poolside lounging so you can have an amazing day spent poolside! This pool also has giant flat-screen televisions to play movies and also an area for a DJ to play upbeat, fun music. There are also Private cabanas and daybeds available in this area for a more exclusive pool day. Not only is this pool incredibly beautiful, but also incredibly high-energy. It was always packed and party-like. So if you’re looking for a high-energy area, this pool is it! You can also easily order food and drinks as much as you want. The servers are incredibly attentive and quick!

Also, this pool is the location for the nightly laser show at 9:00PM EST. It’s 10 minutes long and absolutely worth the watch! Feel free to enjoy if from your balcony or even while within the pool itself! It’s super cool and your little ones will also enjoy it! Check out our view of the nightly laser show from our balcony:

Near the primary “Falls Pool Oasis” is the dedicated childrens splash-pad/pool area which is a much smaller pool specifically designed for children. This pool provides a max depth of 11' and is the perfect place for families with small children to spend time. From a small waterslide to aquatic elements and even private cabanas and poolside seating, this is a great place to spend the day at if you have kiddos in tow! Our little one is 5 and thoroughly enjoyed playing here for quite a few hours. She absolutely adored having a small waterslide she felt comfortable going down and we also loved being able to relax in this space. We were also able to receive food and drink service here as well, which was just as fast and efficient as it was at the main pool. I truly loved that my little one could safely have a blast in this area and I enjoyed that it was a tad quieter and more tranquil than the primary pool. It’s also worth noting that although this pool has a max depth of 11’ there was always a lifeguard on duty monitoring the waterslide and pool while we were there, which I thought was amazing and provided extra peace of mind.

After spending a day at the main, “Falls Pool Oasis” and children’s splash pad/pool area, we spent the next day primarily at the “Fiver Falls” waterpark in a reserved cabana. I absolutely LOVED that the waterpark was tucked away from the primary pool so it was way more relaxed and quieter. We also had our cabana booked for the day facing the lazy river in the waterpark which was absolutely heavenly and I truly can’t recommend it enough. If you are planning on booking a cabana I highly suggest selecting River Falls for its location if you want a little more relaxation and tranquility and select the Falls Pool Oasis area for more upbeat, high-energy atmosphere.

Some notable features of the River Falls waterpark include a 575ft. Zero entry lazy river, 3 Inner tube waterslides for up to 2 riders. An aqua playground with bubbling nozzles and two tall vertical leaf spraying elements. Poolside lounge chairs and cabanas. Poolside refreshments and plenty of beautiful, lush tropical landscaping.

This event started in May and runs on select dates throughout 2023. Event features include: A mermaid performance, Meet & Greet and Photo op with the mermaids following their swim. Live poolside DJ with lights and music. Glow giveaways like necklaces and bracelets. Glow face painting/airbrush tattoos. Pool games like water balloon toss and relay races. Themed arts and crafts. Ending with the resort’s 10-minute nightly laser light show

Mermaid Glow pool parties are currently scheduled for May 13, May 20, July 29, Aug. 5, Aug. 12, Oct. 7, Nov. 25, Dec. 28, and Dec. 30, 2023.

Unfortunately, during the weekend we spent on property the event was not taking place, but my husband was able to attend an event much more suited for Father’s Day weekend: “The World Of Whiskey.”

This was an all-inclusive event featuring 8 of the top-selling Whiskeys, Scotches and Bourbons on the market today, paired with unique lite bites. Tickets to this event were $50 per person and it was 100% worth it if you have a whiskey lover in your party! Not only did my husband enjoy the various beverages in the tasting, but the bites were to die for! The event was beautiful and such a perfect way to end the day on property! I HIGHLY suggest participating in this event if it is offered again during your visit on property. Check out some photos from the “World Of Whiskey” event:

In a nutshell, if you are looking for a phenomenal resort located near Disney that offers shuttles to the park, has a diverse option of restaurants on property, expansive pool and waterpark, incredible recreational activities and fun seasonal events, Orlando World Center Marriott is the property for you! There is truly something for everyone in your party to enjoy during your stay and you will NOT be disappointed! The staff on-site are attentive, helpful and ready to do what it takes to ensure you have a wonderful stay!

A BIG thank you to Orlando World Center Marriott for hosting my little family for the weekend! We enjoyed this resort immensely and can’t wait to return again!
