Hosted: Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center "Once Upon A Spring" Event
The “Once Upon A Spring” Celebration is in full swing at Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center, located in Kissimmee, Florida and I can guarantee you won’t want to miss it! We were lucky enough to receive two #hosted nights at this beautiful property to check out their spring event and it did not disappoint! The event was jam-packed with family-friendly seasonal activities that were simply perfect for celebrating the season!
If you aren’t familiar with Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center, you are truly missing out! This property is simply stunning and hands-down my favorite resort to stay at in the Central Florida area! They not only have their own Cypress Springs Water Park on property, but also have a lush 4.5 acre atrium, nine award-winning restaurants, various bars, a world-class Spa, and state-of-the-art fitness center on property. There is truly something for EVERYONE in your visiting family to enjoy! Oh, and did I mention that the property is located within minutes of your favorite Central Florida theme parks?!
For this visit we specifically came to enjoy all things Spring! Check out the various ticketed “Once Upon A Spring” events available now through May14, 2023!
Here are some of the various ticketed activities offered during the “Once Upon A Spring” event:
Adventure Kids’ Clubhouse: Join us at the all-new Adventure Kids' Clubhouse and explore the world around you. This season, meet The Gardener, who will help you create the perfect springtime craft: a custom-painted flowerpot.
Dates: March 3- May 14, 2023. Fridays & Saturdays, plus select dates.
Spring-A-Long Scavenger Hunt: Embark on a springtime scavenger hunt as you search for clues throughout Gaylord Palms' atriums. Wander through 4.5 acres full of spring flowers and seasonal colors as you work at your own pace. Complete the hunt, solve the puzzle, and take home a springtime surprise!

The pirates’ Treasure Escape Room: Ahoy! Captain Hornswoggle's bride, Emerald, has recruited you to her crew to secretly pillage the Captain's Quarters and claim his treasure - a rare gem. Capt. Hornswoggle has hidden the jewel, and the only way to locate it is to complete a series of puzzles and riddles. Find the gem and escape before he returns in 30 minutes to avoid walking the plank!
Dates: March 3- May 14, 2023. Fridays & Saturdays, plus select dates.
Easter Dining at Villa De Flora: Celebrate Easter Sunday in our recently refreshed Villa de Flora and enjoy a delicious Mediterranean-inspired buffet featuring classic carving station favorites of prime rib, roasted leg of lamb, and smoked ham.
Date: Easter Sunday. 12PM-6PM. Adults $75, Children $35.
In addition to various seasonal activities that require ticket purchases, Gaylord Palms also overs various FREE activities during this seasonal event, such as:
Easter Bunny Meet & Greet: While you might not spot him as he's delivering eggs, the lovable Easter Bunny takes a break from preparing his famous egg hunt to take photos with guests at the Eggspression Garden. Mrs. Easter Bunny will make a special appearance on Easter Sunday!
Saturdays (March 4, 11, 18, 25 and April 1, 8):
The Easter Bunny will meet at at 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., & 3:30 p.m.
Easter Sunday (April 9, 2023):
The Easter Bunny will meet at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 12 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m.
Mrs. Easter Bunny will meet at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m., 4 p.m.
Eggspression Garden: Larger-than-life Easter eggs and bouquets of blossoms highlight this themed walkthrough experience. Along the way, guests will find plenty of springtime photo spots for that perfect picture to share with friends and family. This was one of our favorite parts of the seasonal event! The various large painted eggs were a complete hit for my 4-year-old and also for myself since I LOVE the various beautiful photo opportunities it provided!

Bloom Light Show: Pastel flowers, bunnies, and other springtime images are featured nightly high above the Gaylord Palms atrium on the animated, LED light curtains. The show can be enjoyed from many spots throughout the atrium, while guests in select atrium-view rooms can enjoy the show from the comfort of their balcony.
Dates: March 3- May 14, 2023. Daily, 8:30 PM.
Dine In Movies: Overnight guests are invited to take in a Dive-In Movie on the large video wall near the zero-entry pool at Cypress Springs Water Park. Enjoy the silver screen selections from the swimming pool or seating area around the pool.
Dates: March 3- May 13, 2023. Saturday’s 5PM.
Adventure Kids: Sprout Into Spring: Young guests are invited to join Seth the Sea Turtle, Ava the Alligator, and everyone's favorite Adventure Kid, Sophie, on an interactive journey through the Gaylord Palms atrium to discover the wonders of spring.
Dates: March 3 - March 13, 2023. Saturday’s 1PM, 2PM, 3PM.
Animal Encounters: Enjoy up-close encounters with Florida's amazing animals and learn how they adapt to springtime weather and interact with other indigenous animals in the wild.
Dates: March 3 - May 14, 2023. Sawgrass Place. Saturday’s 5PM-6PM.

Waking up here on Easter morning is nothing short of magical and a memorable experience for my little one! Nothing is better than the Easter Bunny “delivering an Easter basket” to the room balcony for my kiddo to find!
